World Thinking Day
Celebrated since 1926, World Thinking Day is a day of international friendship.
At Hill View on 22nd February we joined in to give the opportunity for Girl Guides and Scouts all over the world to think about each other and discuss issues that affect them, especially global issues.
22nd February was chosen because it was the birthday of Scouting and Guiding founder Lord Robert Baden-Powell and also Lady Olave Baden-Powell, his wife and World Chief Guide.
Everybody who was member of any of the organisations proudly wore their uniform for the day.
