Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Chester as part of our History enquiry 'How did the Romans change Britain?'

The children marched through Chester in their armour to the amphitheatre and spent time practising formations and even attacking the teachers and their ranks. They also had opportunities to look at different artifacts, act as archaeologists and spend time looking at the local ruins from the Roman gardens and town. They behaved brilliantly, loved dressing a Roman soldier and had an amazing day, well done Year 4!
